When I first head Beneath the Surface by The Gza feat. Killah Priest I just nodded my head with an attentive ear and smiled. The beat is berserk (That sample is from some old school superhero carton but I cant name it) and they just spit.
Gza did his thing as usual but what stood out to me was Priest. I particularity liked the last set of bars especially when he got into the "death kiss of Satan's mistress" stuff. I think I was dealing with the real foul chic at the time so the lyrics resonated with me on some real shit.
