"Turn writers block to a block party..." -Radimiz

I came across this video around the same time I watched the first "2011 Best of Brooklyn" cypher. I watched this joint like multiple times smiling ear to ear the whole while. Somewhere under a random bridge in Brooklyn, these cats are the living spirit of Hip-Hop culture and music. The setting. The vibe. The rhymes. Everything.

"Free" style - State Property

"Every clip, filled to the tip
Quick to let the pits off the leash like Vick" - Beanie Mac

I know, I know this does not compare to the 97 Roc - a- fella free style but...damn.

Beanie is problem on the mic. Peedie and Freeway too. Hearing stuff like this makes me feel like this is the way hip-hop music is meant to be heard. Recorded, in-studio music is too limiting.

Hip-Hop lives.

Here is part one of the aforementioned Hot 97 sessions

"Free" style - Beanie Sigel

"For truth it is what it is that's what the streets made me
Shoulda played Big but it's all Gravy"

"When I kick-in that door
Waving the four-four
Broad Street bully hard like wood floors
I'm harder than the yard after four
I bang like D Howard on the boards
look, weak ass cowards can't afford
to f**k with this n***a heart colder than a whores"

This could have been posted under Delivery, Vomitspit or Flow, just to name a few. While I wish I could hear Max B's lyrics, you can still get a sense of his flow.
